- Begin by draining and rinsing 1 can of chickpeas under cold water. Spread them out on a kitchen towel or paper towel, using another towel to gently pat them dry.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the dried chickpeas with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika, ½ teaspoon of garlic powder, ½ teaspoon of salt, and ¼ teaspoon of freshly cracked black pepper. Toss everything together until evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking or stirring halfway through.
- After 10 minutes, check for crispness. Continue to air fry in 2-minute increments if necessary.
