Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onions to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Layer the browned beef and sautéed onions in a slow cooker. Follow with sliced carrots, diced potatoes, corn, and green beans.
  4. Combine mushroom soup with a splash of water until smooth. Pour over the layered ingredients in the slow cooker.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Check the vegetables for tenderness.
  6. In the last 30 minutes, sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the casserole and cover to melt.
