Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  3. Increase heat to medium-high and add ground beef to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, then crushed tomatoes, and simmer for 10 minutes until sauce thickens.
  5. Prepare gnocchi according to package instructions, usually boiling in salted water for 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  6. In a large baking dish, combine cooked gnocchi with bolognese sauce. Top with mozzarella cheese and Parmesan.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden. Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for a crispy top.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving, garnish with fresh parsley or basil.
