Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Vegetables: Wash and chop the vegetables. Dice the potatoes, chop the onion and bell pepper, and mince the garlic.
  2. Cook the Potatoes: Heat a large skillet over medium heat, add diced potatoes, and sauté for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Brown the Meat: In the same skillet, add ground meat and brown for 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  4. Sauté the Vegetables: Add onions, bell peppers, and minced garlic to meat. Sprinkle with seasonings and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Return potatoes to the skillet, add beef broth, stir, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Melt the Cheese: Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, cover, and melt for 2-3 minutes over low heat.
