Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your muffin tin.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently stir. Fold in cherries.
- In a small bowl, combine topping ingredients and cut in cold butter until crumbly.
- Fill muffin cups with batter and sprinkle streusel topping on each.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow muffins to cool for 5 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
