  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, cooking for about 5 minutes until translucent.
  3. Increase heat to medium-high, add ground beef, breaking it apart, and cook until browned, about 7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Reduce heat to medium, pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine. Gradually add reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  5. Add drained pasta to skillet and toss to coat in sauce. Adjust consistency with additional pasta water if desired.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese or fresh parsley.
