Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (about 8–10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter, add 2 tablespoons of flour, and whisk until golden to make the roux.
  3. Slowly add in 1 cup of heavy cream while whisking. Cook for 3–4 minutes until thickens slightly, then add Boursin and cheddar cheese until melted.
  4. Fold the drained pasta into the cheese sauce, ensuring it's evenly coated. Let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  5. Melt another tablespoon of butter in a skillet, add the breadcrumbs, and toast for 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased baking dish, top with breadcrumbs, and serve or broil for extra crispiness.
