Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease your baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil, and cook penne or rotini pasta for about 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded cooked chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until blended.
  4. Gently fold the cooked pasta into the chicken and vegetable mixture until all pasta is coated.
  5. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top, followed by breadcrumbs, and drizzle melted butter on top of the breadcrumbs.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
