Ingredients

For the Base
  • 1 cup Fresh Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed from about 4-6 lemons
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk For sweetness and creaminess
  • 2 cups Cold Water To balance flavors
For Serving
  • 1 cup Ice Cubes To keep the drink cool
  • 4 slices Lemon Slices For garnish
  • Fresh Mint Leaves Optional garnish

Equipment

  • Large pitcher
  • whisk
  • Juicer

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by rolling 4 to 6 fresh lemons on the countertop to release extra juice. Cut them in half and juice until you achieve about 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice with the sweetened condensed milk. Use a whisk to stir the mixture vigorously for 1 to 2 minutes until well blended.
  3. Gradually stir in 2 cups of cold water into the pitcher with the lemon and milk mixture until smooth.
  4. Taste your lemonade. If you prefer it sweeter, add up to 1/4 cup of simple syrup and stir well.
  5. To enjoy your lemonade at its best, refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes or serve immediately over ice.
  6. Fill tall glasses with ice cubes, pour the chilled lemonade, garnish with lemon slices, and fresh mint leaves.
