Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by rolling 4 to 6 fresh lemons on the countertop to release extra juice. Cut them in half and juice until you achieve about 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.
- In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice with the sweetened condensed milk. Use a whisk to stir the mixture vigorously for 1 to 2 minutes until well blended.
- Gradually stir in 2 cups of cold water into the pitcher with the lemon and milk mixture until smooth.
- Taste your lemonade. If you prefer it sweeter, add up to 1/4 cup of simple syrup and stir well.
- To enjoy your lemonade at its best, refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes or serve immediately over ice.
- Fill tall glasses with ice cubes, pour the chilled lemonade, garnish with lemon slices, and fresh mint leaves.
