Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Creamy Lemon-Parmesan White Beans
  1. Begin by heating a large skillet over medium heat. Pour in 1 tablespoon of olive oil, letting it shimmer for about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add 2 cloves of minced garlic to the skillet, stirring continuously for about 1 minute.
  3. Drain and rinse 2 cans (15 oz each) of white beans, then add them to the skillet. Stir gently for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour in 1 cup of vegetable broth, scraping the bottom of the pan. Bring to a gentle simmer, allowing it to cook for about 5 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to low and add in 1/2 cup of heavy cream, 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, the zest and juice of 1 lemon. Stir everything together until smooth.
  6. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste, and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
