Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine your choice of ground meat with breadcrumbs, egg, crumbled feta cheese, minced garlic, diced onion, and chopped parsley. Mix until everything is thoroughly incorporated.
- Wet your hands slightly, scoop about a tablespoon of the mixture, and roll into a ball about 1 inch in diameter. Place on a baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check for doneness; meatballs should be browned and internal temperature should be 160°F (71°C). Return to air fryer for an additional 2-3 minutes if needed.
- Carefully remove meatballs from air fryer and serve warm with tzatziki sauce, crumbled feta, and parsley. Great with a Greek salad.
