Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by finely chopping the broccoli and steaming fresh broccoli for about 3-5 minutes until tender. Cool to room temperature.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped broccoli with shredded cheddar cheese, beaten eggs, and gluten-free breadcrumbs. Season with salt, pepper, and optional seasonings.
  3. Scoop out portions of the mixture and form them into round, flat patties, about ¾ inch thick.
  4. For frying, heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add cooking oil. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. For baking, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  5. Once cooked, transfer the patties to a plate to cool slightly and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
