For Garnishing
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley Dried parsley can be used but fresh is preferred

Equipment

  • Deep skillet or heavy pot
  • sauté pan
  • paper towels

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by peeling and cutting your russet potatoes into thin fry shapes. Soak the cut fries in a bowl of cold water for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Once the fries have soaked, drain them and pat them completely dry using paper towels.
  3. In a deep skillet, heat oil to 375°F (190°C). Carefully add the fries in batches and fry until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. In a sauté pan, melt unsalted butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant and golden, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Immediately transfer the hot fries into the sauté pan with the garlic butter. Toss gently to coat and sprinkle with sea salt and parsley.
  6. Serve your crispy garlic butter fries hot, right from the pan for the best flavor and texture.
