Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by placing your beef strips in a mixing bowl and coating them evenly with cornflour.
- Heat a generous amount of vegetable oil in a wok or large pan over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Fry the beef strips in batches for 3-4 minutes until they turn golden-brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Reduce the oil in the pan, leaving about 2 tablespoons, and sauté the white parts of spring onions, minced garlic, ginger, and chopped red chili for about 1 minute.
- Pour in soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil into the pan, and stir together. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Return the crispy beef to the pan and toss in the sauce for even coating, heating through.
- Garnish generously with green parts of spring onions, fresh coriander, and sesame seeds before serving.
