Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by washing and trimming the ends of your fresh zucchinis. Grate the zucchinis using a box grater or food processor. Squeeze out excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained zucchini with crumbled feta cheese, a beaten egg, breadcrumbs, and oats if desired. Add minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
  3. Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized balls, ensuring they hold together. If too wet, add more breadcrumbs.
  4. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and arrange the balls on a lined baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil on top and bake for about 20 minutes, turning halfway through.
  5. Once baked, let the Crispy Zucchini-Feta Balls cool for a few minutes before serving with your favorite dipping sauce.
