Step-by-Step Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Sear each side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, unsalted butter, cream of chicken soup, minced garlic, chicken broth, and the dry Italian dressing mix. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
- Lightly spray the inside of your crock pot with non-stick spray. Place the seared chicken breasts at the bottom of the pot and pour the creamy sauce evenly over them.
- Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for about 2.5 hours. Ensure the chicken’s internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- About 15 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions. Drain once cooked al dente.
- To serve, keep the chicken breasts whole or shred them over the pasta. Ladle the creamy sauce generously on top. Garnish with parsley, cracked pepper, and Parmesan cheese.
