  • 1 cup White Chocolate Chips dark chocolate can be used

  • 1 tbsp Culinary Matcha Powder ensure it is sifted to prevent clumping

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare a 9x9-inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth. Add in the eggs one at a time, then mix in culinary matcha powder and vanilla extract until homogeneous.
  3. Gradually whisk in half of the milk, then sift in mochiko and fine sea salt, followed by the remaining milk. Mix until just combined.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, smooth out the top, and bake for 40-50 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  5. Remove the brownies from the oven and allow them to cool in the pan on a wire rack for about 30 minutes.
  6. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and heavy cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
  7. Sift the culinary matcha powder into the melted mixture, whisk until fully incorporated and creamy.
  8. Pour the matcha ganache over the cooled brownies, spreading it evenly, and refrigerate for approximately 45 minutes to set.
