- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until the mixture becomes slightly sticky.
- Wet your hands and form the mixture into small oval-shaped koftas, about 2 inches long. Set aside on a plate while you preheat the grill.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F / 200°C). Lightly brush the grill grates with olive oil.
- Place the koftas on the preheated grill, spacing them apart. Grill for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the koftas are grilling, prepare the garlic yogurt sauce. In a separate bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt, stirring until smooth.
- Once the koftas are done grilling, let them rest for a couple of minutes. Serve alongside the garlic yogurt sauce.
