Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Melt about 2 tablespoons of butter and mix in 1 tablespoon of honey and a pinch of kosher salt to create the egg wash.
  3. Rinse the asparagus under cool water, pat dry, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt before tossing gently.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry to about ¼ inch thick, cut into 4x4 inch squares, and position on the baking sheet.
  5. Layer a slice of prosciutto, followed by 2-3 asparagus spears, and a sprinkle of cheese on each pastry square.
  6. Fold the corners of the pastry squares over the filling and press the edges to seal; brush the top with egg wash.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 14 to 18 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
