  4. Cover the mixed batter with a damp cloth and allow it to rest for 2 hours.
  5. While the batter rests, preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  6. Take an oven-safe skillet or baking tray and coat it with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  7. Once the oven is preheated, carefully pour the rested batter into the hot skillet.
  8. Place the skillet in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  9. Once baked, remove the farinata from the oven and allow it to cool for 5 minutes.
  10. Transfer the farinata to a cutting board and slice it into wedges.
