  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce tamari or coconut aminos for gluten-free
  • 1/2 cup Water

  • 1/4 cup Fresh Coriander for garnish

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Rice Cake Mixture: Combine rice flour, sabudana flour, corn flour, salt, and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Gradually pour in boiling water while stirring until smooth and thick.
  2. Cook the Mixture in the Microwave: Heat the mixture in the microwave for 1 minute and 50 seconds, stir and then microwave for an additional 1 minute and 20 seconds until firm but pliable.
  3. Knead and Shape the Dough: Drizzle oil over the cooled dough and knead until smooth. Roll into logs about 1 inch thick and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Sauté the Aromatics: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Create the Spicy Sauce: Add chili flakes, sesame seeds, sugar, red chili powder, and salt. Stir in Maggi sauce, soy sauce, and water. Simmer for 5 minutes until thick.
  6. Combine Rice Cakes and Sauce: Add rice cakes to the pan, stir to coat in sauce, and cook for 5-7 minutes until chewy and infused with flavor.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh coriander, and serve warm.
