Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x5 inch loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a larger bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth, adding eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract and buttermilk.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in the red and green sprinkles carefully to prevent color bleeding.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top and optionally sprinkling coarse sugar or more sprinkles on top.
  7. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick inserted into the center.
  8. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
