Steps
- Wash and dry the strawberries, slice them into quarters, and combine with sugar. Allow to macerate for 10 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, add whipped cream and vanilla extract. Whip until soft peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
- Start layering in serving cups with cubed pound cake, macerated strawberries including some syrup, and whipped cream. Repeat layers until filled.
- Cover the cups and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to meld flavors.
