Combine the Oils
- In a shallow bowl, pour in ½ cup of extra virgin olive oil followed by 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar. Whisk them together gently until blended.
Chop the Fresh Herbs and Olives
- Finely chop 2 tablespoons each of fresh parsley and basil, along with 2 tablespoons each of Castelvetrano and Kalamata olives, and stir them into the oil mixture.
Grate the Garlic and Add Seasonings
- Grate 1 clove of garlic into the mixture, and sprinkle in ½ teaspoon of dried oregano and ¼ teaspoon of flaky sea salt, stirring to combine.
Incorporate the Parmesan Cheese
- Add ¼ cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese to the mixture and gently fold it in to blend.
Let the Flavors Marry
- Allow the Bread Dipping Oil to rest for at least 15 minutes at room temperature to let the flavors meld together.
Serve with Fresh Warm Bread
- Transfer the Bread Dipping Oil to a serving dish and pair with warm, crusty bread.
