Steps to Prepare
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the egg, buttermilk, and melted butter.
- Combine the wet mixture with the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Gently fold in chopped pistachios.
- Fill each donut cavity about two-thirds full with batter.
- Bake for about 12 minutes until the edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for a few minutes, then release from the pan and cool completely on a rack.
