Steps to Prepare
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg, buttermilk, and melted butter.
  4. Combine the wet mixture with the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in chopped pistachios.
  6. Fill each donut cavity about two-thirds full with batter.
  7. Bake for about 12 minutes until the edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool for a few minutes, then release from the pan and cool completely on a rack.
