Step 1: Prepare the Cornflake Crust
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter until bubbly. Add crushed cornflakes and cinnamon, stirring for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Stir in sugar, mix well, and let cool completely.
Step 2: Make the Creamy Filling
- In a bowl, beat heavy whipping cream until thickened slightly, about 2-3 minutes. Add evaporated milk and salt, mix until combined. Gradually pour in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla, blending until thick and creamy.
Step 3: Layer the Ingredients
- Press half of the cooled cornflake mixture into a greased 9-inch square baking pan. Pour the creamy filling over it and top with remaining cornflake mixture.
Step 4: Freeze the Dessert Bars
- Cover the pan with plastic wrap and freeze overnight.
Step 5: Cut and Serve
- Once frozen, let the pan sit for about 5 minutes at room temperature. Cut into even bars and serve with optional toppings.

Notes
Allow bars to freeze overnight for the best texture. For easier cutting, let them sit a few minutes before slicing.
