Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, lemon zest, and cracked black pepper. Whisk in Dijon mustard and honey until smooth.
  2. Gradually pour in olive oil and soy sauce while whisking continuously until the mixture becomes creamy.
  3. Stir in fresh lemon juice and place salmon fillets in a resealable bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon and seal the bag.
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours, ensuring not to marinate longer than 2 hours.
  5. Preheat grill to high heat. Lightly oil the grates and grill the salmon fillets for about 10 minutes until charred.
  6. Remove salmon from the grill and let it rest before serving. Pair with cucumber salad and charred lemon wedges.
