Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the beef and sauté for 3-4 minutes until onions are translucent.
  4. Transfer beef mixture to the greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Layer thinly sliced potatoes over the beef mixture, ensuring slices overlap slightly.
  6. Sprinkle salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika over the layered potatoes.
  7. Top with cheddar and Parmesan cheese, then pour beef broth or water around the edges.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes, then garnish with parsley before serving.
