Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C) and place a pizza stone or a baking sheet on the middle rack for at least 30 minutes to heat up. Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out your pizza dough into a 12-inch round.
  2. Spread a generous layer of tomato sauce over the surface of the dough, leaving a ½-inch border for the crust. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly on top, followed by 20–25 pepperoni slices. Dollop small spoonfuls of ricotta around the pizza.
  3. Transfer your assembled pizza to the preheated stone or baking sheet. Bake for 8–12 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese begins to bubble.
  4. Drizzle the hot honey over the pizza after it comes out of the oven. Scatter fresh basil leaves and sprinkle red pepper flakes if desired. Slice and enjoy while hot!
