- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook 12 oz of linguine or spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and return to pot.
- Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add 1 lb of large shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from the skillet.
- Pour 1/2 cup of white wine or chicken broth into the skillet and allow it to simmer for 2 minutes.
- Stir in the lemon juice and zest from 1 lemon and 1 cup of heavy cream, bringing to a gentle simmer.
- Toss in the cooked pasta and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the pasta mixture to a baking dish and lay the shrimp on top.
- Sprinkle 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese over the mixture.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley.
