Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter. Cut half of the brioche bread into cubes and layer in the dish.
  2. Scatter half of the mixed berries and half of the cream cheese over the brioche. Repeat with remaining brioche, berries, and cream cheese.
  3. Whisk eggs in a mixing bowl until smooth. Add milk, heavy cream, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Blend until frothy.
  4. Pour custard over layered bread and berries. Press down gently and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix flour, brown sugar, and cold butter in a bowl until crumbly for streusel topping.
  6. Remove plastic wrap and sprinkle streusel over the casserole. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and set.
