  • 24 cookies Oreo Cookies
  • 5 tbsp Unsalted Butter melted
For the Edible Cookie Dough
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour heat-treated

  • 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup White Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
For the Cream Filling
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar sifted
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream whipped
  • 1/2 cup Mini Chocolate Chips
For the Ganache
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips for ganache
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream for ganache

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the crust by blending Oreo cookies into fine crumbs, mixing with melted butter, and pressing into a springform pan. Freeze while preparing the dough.
  2. Heat treat the all-purpose flour by baking it at 350°F for 8 minutes. Beat together butter, sugars until fluffy, then mix in flour, salt, vanilla, milk, and chocolate chips. Spread over crust and freeze for 30 minutes.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth, mix in powdered sugar and vanilla. Whip heavy cream until soft peaks, fold it into the cream cheese mixture. Stir in mini chocolate chips and pour over cookie dough layer.
  4. Cover the pie and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
  5. Prepare the ganache by heating heavy cream until steaming, pour over chocolate chips, whisk until smooth.
  6. Pour ganache over the pie, let set in the freezer for 8 minutes before serving. Decorate with cookie dough balls if desired.
