Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together 2 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  3. Beat together 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, and 1/2 cup of brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add two large eggs, one at a time, mixing well, then stir in 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
