- Step 1: Cook the Tortellini - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add cheese tortellini and cook according to package instructions for 3-5 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- Step 2: Prepare the Dressing - In a mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic until smooth. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Step 3: Combine the Salad Ingredients - In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled tortellini, salami, pepperoni, turkey or ham, cherry tomatoes, red onion, pepperoncini, mozzarella pearls, and Parmesan cheese. Toss gently.
- Step 4: Dress the Salad - Pour the prepared dressing over the salad mixture and toss until evenly coated.
- Step 5: Add Romaine Lettuce - Fold in the chopped romaine lettuce just before serving to retain its crispness.
- Step 6: Chill the Salad - Cover and refrigerate for 15-30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
