For the Meatloaf

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Enhances garlic flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder Imparts mild sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil Adds freshness.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley Adds freshness.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 cup Whole Milk For a dairy-free option, substitute with plant-based milk.
For the Glaze
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Can be replaced with olive oil.
  • 1/4 cup Additional Parmesan For an extra cheesy crust.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley For garnishing.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F) and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, shredded Parmesan, panko breadcrumbs, eggs, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, parsley, salt, black pepper, and whole milk.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on the prepared sheet.
  4. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
  5. While baking, melt the butter in a saucepan, stir in garlic, then add Parmesan and parsley until glaze thickens.
  6. Brush the baked meatloaf with the garlic Parmesan glaze and return to the oven for an additional 5 to 7 minutes.
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for about 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
