Ingredients
  

Peach Simple Syrup
  • 1 cup Organic Cane Sugar Can substitute with agave syrup or honey.
  • 1 cup Water Using filtered water is recommended.
  • 2 pieces Ripe Peaches Fresh peaches are preferred; thawed frozen peaches can be used.
Tea
  • 3-4 bags Loose Leaf Black Tea Adjust quantity for desired strength.
  • 8 cups Filtered Water Essential for brewing.

Method
 

Peach Simple Syrup
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine one cup of organic cane sugar and one cup of filtered water. Add two sliced ripe peaches and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Once boiling, reduce heat and let simmer for 25-30 minutes until the peaches soften and the syrup thickens.
Brew Tea
  1. While the syrup simmers, bring 8 cups of filtered water to a boil in a separate pot. Add loose leaf black tea and steep for 4-5 minutes.
  2. Remove tea leaves or strain the tea to prevent bitterness.
Combine and Strain
  1. Once the peach syrup has cooled, strain it through a fine mesh sieve. Press the peaches gently to extract syrup.
Serve
  1. In a large pitcher, combine the brewed tea with the peach syrup. Stir to mix.
  2. Serve over ice-filled glasses, adjusting syrup to taste. Garnish with fresh peach slices or mint.

Notes
