Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger until smooth.
  3. Pat the salmon fillets dry, rub with olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the baking dish and spoon two-thirds of the glaze over them.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, checking for doneness at 12 minutes.
  6. Optional: Broil for the last 1-2 minutes for extra caramelization.
  7. Let the salmon rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
