Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the large shrimp dry with paper towels to ensure a proper sear.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add half of the unsalted butter.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer, cooking them for 2 minutes without moving them.
  4. Flip each shrimp and cook for another 1-2 minutes until they are fully opaque.
  5. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set them aside on a plate.
  6. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter along with the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  7. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, tossing gently and adding lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to taste.
  8. Sprinkle the freshly grated Parmesan cheese over the shrimp and stir lightly until it melts.
  9. Garnish the dish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
