  • 2 cups Frozen Shredded Hashbrowns Thaw before use

  • 2 large Eggs Use a flax egg for a vegetarian option
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Add paprika or cayenne for extra spice if desired
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. Brown the breakfast sausage in a medium skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until no longer pink.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooled sausage, thawed hashbrowns, cheese, eggs, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until mixed.
  4. Spoon the filling into each muffin cup, filling them 3/4 full and pressing down lightly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until tops are golden brown and edges are crispy.
  6. Allow the bites to cool for about 5 minutes before using a butter knife to gently loosen and remove them from the muffin tin.
