Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, grated apple, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, fresh sage, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a plate.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the meatballs until browned on all sides, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Transfer the browned meatballs to the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
  6. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let the meatballs rest for 5 minutes before serving.
