  • 2 9-ounce tubes Cacique pork chorizo Substitute with turkey chorizo or a plant-based option.
  • 1/2 medium onion Finely diced, yellow or white onions work best.
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour A gluten-free flour is an excellent alternative.
  • 2 1/2 cups whole milk Opt for almond milk or oat milk if preferred.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare the biscuits.
  2. In a large sauté pan, cook the chorizo over medium-high heat for about 7 minutes until browned.
  3. Add the finely diced onion and cook for 3 minutes until it softens.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the mixture, stir and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Gradually add milk while stirring to prevent lumps, cooking until thickened (5-7 minutes).
  6. Serve the chorizo gravy over the baked biscuits.
