- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Layer the rice evenly in a large baking dish. Sprinkle minced garlic and oregano over the rice.
- Place chicken pieces on top of the rice and drizzle lemon juice over them.
- Pour in water or broth around the chicken. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 35-40 minutes.
- Remove the dish, dollop tzatziki over the chicken, and bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Allow to sit for a few minutes before serving. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle fresh herbs on top.
