  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil Chopped, can substitute with parsley
For Cooking
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes Optional
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, roasted red peppers, basil, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Pat each chicken breast dry and season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Create a pocket in each chicken breast and stuff with the filling mixture.
  5. Sear the stuffed chicken in a skillet with olive oil for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish, add minced garlic, chicken broth, and balsamic vinegar, then bake for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
