Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine lean ground beef, bread crumbs, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until incorporated, about 2 minutes.
  2. Place a skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Heat until shimmering.
  3. Shape the beef mixture into four patties, about ½-inch thick. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. While patties are cooking, whisk together brown gravy mix and hot water in a separate bowl until smooth.
  5. Once patties are cooked, lower heat and pour gravy over them. Stir in extra ketchup and Worcestershire sauce, simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Serve hot over mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
