Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone in the oven if you have one.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough into a circle approximately 12 inches in diameter on a floured surface.
  3. Spread a generous layer of ricotta cheese evenly over the dough, leaving about a half-inch border for the crust.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the ricotta layer.
  5. Layer thin slices of prosciutto on top of the mozzarella evenly.
  6. Bake the pizza for about 10 to 12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  7. After baking, drizzle the hot honey generously over the pizza.
  8. Top with fresh basil leaves and slice into eight pieces to serve hot.
