Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175ºC) and prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan by greasing it.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine grated zucchini, brown sugar, applesauce, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together oat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. If desired, fold in chocolate chips or nuts.
  6. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake the brownies for approximately 55 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick.
  8. Cool the brownies in the pan for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
