Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Start by washing and chopping all your vegetables: slice the red bell pepper, zucchini, and mushrooms, and chop the broccoli into florets. Mince the garlic and set it aside with the soy sauce, chili flakes, and brown sugar.
  2. In a non-stick skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, then introduce the ground beef. Cook until browned, approximately 5-7 minutes. Mix in the soy sauce, chili flakes, and brown sugar, letting it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  3. In a separate pan, add olive oil and heat over medium heat. Once hot, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds before adding the sliced mushrooms. After 2 minutes of cooking, toss in the broccoli, zucchini, and red bell pepper. Stir-fry for roughly 4-5 minutes.
  4. Prepare your serving bowls by placing a generous scoop of fluffy steamed rice at the bottom. Top the rice with the savory ground beef mixture, then pile on the sautéed veggies.
