Beef
  • 1 pound Beef Sirloin Thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil Any neutral oil
Sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic Freshly minced
  • 1 cup Soy Sauce Low-sodium if desired
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil Toasted sesame oil preferred
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar Apple cider vinegar can substitute
Vegetables
  • 1 medium Onion Sliced
  • 1 medium Red Bell Pepper Sliced
Noodles
  • 8 ounces Cooked Noodles Ramen or udon recommended
Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • 2 tablespoons Sliced Green Onions

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Prepare Your Ingredients - Thinly slice the beef sirloin, mince garlic, and slice onions and bell peppers. Cook noodles and set aside.
  2. Step 2: Heat the Oil - In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high until shimmering.
  3. Step 3: Cook the Beef - Add beef to the skillet and brown on one side, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from skillet once cooked.
  4. Step 4: Sauté Aromatics - In the same skillet, add minced garlic and onion, sauté until translucent.
  5. Step 5: Add the Bell Pepper - Cook sliced bell pepper with garlic and onion for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Step 6: Mix the Sauce - Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang, sesame oil, and rice vinegar in a bowl.
  7. Step 7: Combine Sauce with Vegetables - Pour the sauce into the skillet and cook for 2 minutes.
  8. Step 8: Return Beef to Skillet - Add cooked beef back into the skillet and mix.
  9. Step 9: Add the Noodles - Toss cooked noodles with beef and vegetables in the skillet.
  10. Step 10: Finish Cooking - Cook until heated through and glossy, about 2 more minutes.
  11. Step 11: Garnish and Serve - Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
