Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine the fresh cilantro, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Blend on high until smooth.
  2. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper. Let them rest at room temperature for a few minutes.
  3. Preheat the skillet over medium-high heat for about 3–4 minutes. Add olive oil.
  4. Place the seasoned steaks in the hot skillet and cook for about 3 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  5. Transfer the steaks to a cutting board and tent with foil. Let them rest for about 5 minutes.
