Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash 2 cups of fresh strawberries, hull, and slice them. Blend with 5-6 fresh basil leaves until smooth.
  2. Juice 4 large lemons, strain, and collect approximately 1 cup of juice.
  3. In a pitcher, combine lemon juice and 3/4 cup of sugar or honey. Stir until dissolved.
  4. Pour the strawberry-basil blend into the pitcher and stir to combine. Optionally strain for a smoother texture.
  5. Slowly add 4 cups of cold filtered water and adjust sweetness to taste. Stir well.
  6. Add ice cubes and pour in 1-2 cups of sparkling water just before serving.
  7. Garnish with basil leaves and strawberry slices, then serve immediately.
